Rolling Like Big Shots

I'm not sure if Las Vegas can handle us. I know they get lots of crazy people (reference The Hangover for an illustration), but 5 Texas girls just let loose from the confines of college? We might tear down the town. We will arrive to Las Vegas at about 3 or 4 in the afternoon from Salt Lake City. We will check into our hotel room at the Bellagio (the one with the really cool fountains in front), and then get dressed and plunge into the strip. Our first night we will eat at a restaurant called Margarittaville. They play Jimmy Buffet songs and of course have wonderful margarittas, as well as a fun and loud atmosphere. Then, we will head over to the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino, look at all of the old Rock and Roll memorabilia, and win some money playing blackjack and slots. The next day, we will eat at a nicer restaurant owned by the famous chef, Wolfgang Puck, go see a Circ du soleil show, and go gamble at Ceaser's Palace. We will stay out a little later that night, exploring the strip and all of the excitement that it has to offer.

  1. I like that you added this clip from The Hangover. It adds some comedy to the blog and shows how the trip can somewhat relate to the movie

  2. This video is really funny, and definitely sets the tone for what to expect in Vegas. Since your friends consider you "spacey" like the guy in The Hangover, I think this fits your blog well. Perhaps, you should explain it underneat the video so that people understand why the video is on here.

  3. This video really goes well with that you are talking about since you will be in Las Vegas. Adding something funny and making the audience laugh is always a plus and adds to the creativity and humor of your travels.

  4. I really liked your Vegas plan but I am not sure how long you are staying there. Vegas is definitely a nice area with a lot to do and sometimes you get stuck there wanting to do more.

  5. I really like the way you break down different stops into different post. The post you have here for the Las Vegas stop is very detailed. It allows me to understand what you will be doing once you are there. I also like the way you embedded a related movie video. Great job.

  6. The picture of the hotel first caught my eyes, but I also liked how you started this post. It's funny and made me read this post all the way.
All the things you'll be doing sounds very exciting!

  7. I agree with Laura about the clip. It adds a comedy sense to the blog and at the same time let us compare the guys in the movie with you and your companions.

What I want to see is the break-down budget for the stay in Las Vegas. I do not think that with $2000, you can go all the way from Texas to California and do the things you like. Las Vegas itself, in my opinion, should drain your whole budget!
